I never had a sister growing up, only my mean, mean brother. (haha!) My mom had a little girl named Courtney about a year before my brother was born. She only lived for 8 minutes once she was born. I had always wondered what it would have been like if she had lived. That was as close to a sister as I had ever gotten until my brother married on February 25th, 2008.
The last baby in my family was born on June 8th, 1992. That would make her 16 now. I was totally unaware of how much a baby, or two, could change a life until my brother was expecting. Granted, these were not my babies, but they are my flesh and blood, and I love them more than life itself. On December 19, 2008, at 4:20pm, Dillon Wayne Taylor was born, weighing 5 pounds and 11 ounzes. But wait! There's more! At 4:21pm, Allison Grace Taylor was born, weighing 4 pounds and 10 ounzes. I will never forget the first time I ever laid eyes on them. I had to stop myself from crying at the miracle that was laying in front of me. They are beautiful and happy and so loved! These pictures are what I saw for that very first time.
Let's start where all good stories start...at the beginning! Chris and I met on April 4th, 2002 at Saved By Grace Baptist Church and began dating on June 21st, 2002. Our relationship was just like any other, a roller coaster at times, but love always saw us through. We dated for six years before we got married.
Our wedding day was amazing! It was perfect in every way. On June 21st, 2008, we were married. It was the happiest day of our lives. We exchanged vows, ate, danced, and had a blast. I will attempt to post the video of our wedding ceremony soon! For now, just some pictures!
